Relationship to the deceased:
"I thank the Lord for the people I have found." - Elton John and Bernie Taupin It was scary transferring to New York City in 1994. I didn´t know anyone, and from the subway system to the Carey bus transfers, to the shared rides and more, getting around was overwhelming to me at first. But I right away encountered some of the most amazing individuals who made impressions on me that remain to this day. Bobbi was one of the first friends that I made. I wish that everyone could know how special Bobbi was. As the years pass since 9/11, my memory of her becomes more and more pronounced. Bobbi was what was "right" in the pre-9/11 world. She knew that it is okay to be full of passion and to show emotion; it is GOOD to wear your heart on your sleeve! It´s okay to sit and talk and have a good old-fashioned conversation. It´s GOOD to care. Bobbi asked questions and wasn´t afraid to appear like she was prying. I will always be grateful to the Lord for the people I have met in my life- and especially at the time when I moved to New York City. So many people there showed me that the things that matter don´t ever change, and one of them was beautiful Bobbi.
