Christian Adams

Story Posted By: Heather Jamieson-A friend
Relationship to the deceased:
A Fulbright grant recipient and a well-regarded figure in the wine industry, Christian Adams was en route to San Francisco on September 11 for an event promoting German wines. Holding degrees in viticulture, wine making, and marketing from universities in Germany and from the University of California at Davis, Adams was responsible for worldwide promotion of his country’s wines for the German Wine Institute in Mainz. A colleague recalled Adams’ thoughtful manner and his depth of knowledge of the wine business. Adams, a resident of Biebelsheim, Germany, was survived by his wife and two children. Represented the German wine industry abroad and ran a vineyard in Biebelsheim. Adams was flying from New York, where a wine tasting was held on September 10, to San Francisco for another tasting. ________________________________________ May your heaven be filled with wine and roses, and may your family find peace after your loss in this senseless, devastating international tragedy. Patti Cuneo May God reward this nation for the love you have shown this country. You have given so many a gift that can never be taken lightly. Many more are sure to have died without the love and sacrifice that you and the many others showed on September 11, 2001. Thank you -- not only from me but from the nation, this nation that stands for freedom, love, and dreams.
